You've probably heard of Husar cookies, and maybe even tasted them. If you love coconut, then this recipe is a hit for any family occasion.
Ingredients
- 200 grams of flour
- 100 g of grated coconut
- half a teaspoon of baking soda or a teaspoon of baking powder
- 130 g of sugar
- 120 g of butter
- 1 egg
- 1 vanilla sugar
- optional fruit spread for filling
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180. Mix flour, coconut and soda in a bowl and mix. In another bowl, mix the butter and sugar until creamy, then add the egg, vanilla and mix until the end.
Step 2
Add half of the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mix, then add the rest of the dry ingredients and mix until the end. Form the mixture with your hands, similar to when you make shortcrust pastry.
Step 3
Put the dough covered in the refrigerator for half an hour to rest. When the dough has rested, take a small piece of dough from the mixture depending on how big you want the cookies to be. Form a ball and use your finger or a kitchen knife to make an indentation into which you will place the filling. These slightly flat shapes will be created for you automatically.
Step 4
Bake the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper at 180-190 degrees for 15-20 minutes, be careful not to burn them.
Enjoy! :)
