What science says

Black cumin seeds in honey add a wide range of micro and macronutrients that have a beneficial effect on digestion and the gastrointestinal system. (1) It alleviates the symptoms of gastritis and stomach infections thanks to its strong immunomodulatory effect. (2)

Oat seeds - they are obtained from the outer shell of oat grains; they are rich in cellulose, fiber, vitamins and minerals and are the most natural source of beta glucan and selenium; they are rich in fibers that slow down the digestion of carbohydrates (3,4)

Fennel - rich in minerals and antioxidants, has an anti-inflammatory effect, cleanses the body, prevents flatulence, and even suppresses bad breath. (5,6)

Phytotherapy

Honey and medicinal plants in phytotherapy

"During phytotherapy consultations, I often encounter the same problem with patients: slow and ineffective digestion. In these situations, I suggest changing the diet and introducing medicinal herbs that reduce flatulence and gas formation, i.e. herbs that are rich in cellulose and fiber, as well as those that stimulate the work of the stomach and intestines. Fennel, oat bran and cumin seeds are the frequent formulations that I use to promote better digestion. Fiber is extremely important, try to get as much of it as possible, it will help on many levels : they clean what has to come out of the intestines/organism, and feed and help what our body needs to function well. At the same time, don't forget to drink water, be sure to increase your fluid intake."
