Protein bread with cheese and oatmeal

You will only need a few basic ingredients to make protein bread. It's also very easy to make, and the end result is fantastic! There are hundreds of combinations you can make with oatmeal, and if in this case you add cheese and a few other ingredients, you will get healthy and very tasty protein bread.

In order to make protein bread , you don't need to be a master in the kitchen. In fact, this bread is not kneaded and requires a minimum investment of time from you. Considering that most of us are always in a hurry and that 24 hours are not enough for us to make everything we have imagined, it is not bad to have this recipe stored somewhere.

The taste of this bread is neutral , so you can combine it with salty and sweet toppings. The ricotta cheese we used is milder and creamier, but if you don't have it available or maybe you don't like it, replace it with fresh cheese in the recipe.

You can serve it with fruit spread if you wish!

Required ingredients:

  • 500 g of ricotta cheese (you can also use fresh cheese)
  • 250 g of oatmeal
  • 3 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of polenta
  • a teaspoon of baking powder
  • a teaspoon of salt
  • sunflower seeds for sprinkling
Step 1

Mix the eggs and cheese until you get a compact mixture.

Step 2

Add oatmeal to the egg and cheese mixture and mix everything well.

Step 3

Add the other ingredients and mix well. Line a bread mold (mine is 30×10) with baking paper and transfer the mixture into it. Sprinkle with seeds and gently press them in with your fingers.

Step 4

Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. You can also cook it a minute longer if you like it more browned.

Let it cool down, slice and enjoy :)
