Macerate 04 is an oil preparation in which fenugreek, milk thistle, bitter melon, and aronia are soaked in black cumin oil.

For six weeks, the plants are immersed in cold-pressed black cumin oil, which "binds" to itself, that is, macerates their healing properties. The dried parts of these four plants amount to  20%  volume share of macerata.

What science says

Fenugreek seeds - have been used for thousands of years in herbal and Chinese medicine, most often as a tonic for metabolism and general health, and to aid digestion (1). It affects type 1 and 2 diabetes by increasing general tolerance to carbohydrates, even in people who do not have metabolic conditions such as diabetes (2, 3, 4). Also, it is the best natural substance for lymph detoxification, and it plays a vital role in irrigating cells with nutrients and removing toxic waste (5). Likewise, its positive influence on the reduction of menopause symptoms and irregular menstrual cycles has been studied (5).

Measles - can be useful as a complementary therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes (6). It was recently confirmed that people who routinely took sikavica experienced significant reductions in fasting blood sugar and HbA1c (7).

Bitter melon - contains a glycoprotein lectin and thus lowers blood sugar levels. Also, it has been shown that it has the ability to reduce the concentration of total triglycerides in the blood, as well as to reduce cholesterol. (8,9) In addition, it can have an antiviral effect. (10)

Aronia - has a strong antioxidant capacity (11), protects the cardiovascular system (12), regulates the work of the pancreas and blood sugar. (13)

Black cumin seeds combine the effects of these antidiabetic plants in the best way and release essential oil, such as thymoquinone, by cold pressing. In 2012, black cumin was officially recognized (EFSA) as one of the best protections against diabetes because it regulates blood sugar levels. (14)

Macerated

Plants and their unique properties can help us with various ailments. It is up to us to use this medicinal plant in the best possible way.

We can pour hot water over it or boil it in it to get the so-called decoction, infusion or simply tea, and we can soak the same herbs in alcohol and get the so-called tincture. The third way of extracting the active medicinal principles of the "soul" of the plant itself is the production of oil macerates.
