• Sage  She is a member of the mint family. The history of medicinal use of this plant goes back centuries, and sage is full of surprising benefits and nutrients. It contains over 160 types of polyphenols, plant antioxidants. Chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, rosmarinic acid, ellagic acid, and rutin from sage may play a role in reducing cancer risk, improving memory, and improving brain function (1,2,3).

The legend of 'Four Thieves'

"According to legend, during the terrible plague in France, four thieves were robbing the graves of the unfortunates who died of this terrible disease. In this way, they exposed themselves not only to the dangers of the law, but also to the much more disastrous exposure to infection.

They were saved from the plague by four herbs - sage, lemon balm, thyme and rosemary, and they received mercy from the law in exchange for the secret of their survival. Hence the name of Matičnjak's honey "Fetter thieves", known as honey for immunity protection.

The fifth thief is the leader of the group and was never caught, but legend has it that he was an Arab and that his main weapon against illness was  black cumin ..."
